BadOleRoss I think the reset is turn ignition on but do not start, dress gas pedal 3 times within 10 seconds, turn ignition off.

It is triggers by driving style, time and miles. If it was not reset last change (probably not since it was not on) it is letting you know it is time by Chrysler standards. Can just reset and not worry. I have changed mine 3 times now and still no light at 7600 miles.

07JKSAHARA You just need to reset the oil change light. Instructions to do this will be found in your owners manual.

Oil change question

I just got an oil change about 1500 miles which was also only about a month ago and my dash is saying oil change required?
What could this mean? Do I really already need another? What triggers this thing to go off?

2012 wrangler sport 2door.

Thanks
