RobW The low tire pressure alert only sounds when the ignition is first cut on so it shouldnt drive you crazy. As for disabling, the only way that you can disable it is to use an AEV Procal and program the computers settings. (or so I've been told) You can set the alert point at 0 psi to competely disable it or you can set it at any other number in between. I havent tried this yet but my AEV Procal should be here this weekend so I can let you know then.

Soft Sand, Tire Pressure - Alert

I will drive my 09 Unlimited in sand, sometimes soft sand. Always aired down with other vehicles, to 15 PSI or lower if necessary.

1. Will the low tire pressure alert drive me nuts? Is there a way to disable it?

2. Is this type of driving where I should be looking into a tranny cooler?

Thanks for input
