I did this 2 years ago. It was my first mod. Still works 13k miles later and I think it's safer. From the side on the highway or in an intersection people will know you are trying to turn if you have your blinkers on.
+1 very simple

Is this the one where you have to cut the wires for the harness that was leading to the side marker originally? I really want to do this, but I'm not crazy about cutting wires

Liberty_2112 Had some time after work.

- removed the silver "JEEP" emblem from hood and replaced with black MOPAR Jeep emblem

- added Rugged Ridge light guards to tail lights and headlights

- Added a shackle to hitch for a backup recovery point

- mounted MagLite to driver seat rail
(Forgot to take a photo of that)

That's what I was doing. Tagged a long with a Maryland Jeep club one of my friends is part of. Had a great time, even having really the only stock rig in the group.

Blue Ox hitch

Had a Blue Ox tow hitch installed today. So far, works perfectly. Easy to attach and unhook. A bit pricey, but should be worth it.
Will get receiver on back on 5th wheel camper on Friday, and be set to GO.

I was there end of June. Having an off road buggy has a lot of advantages. You don't have to worry about much.

I haven't had a speeding ticket since getting married, and that was 35 years ago. I have had a couple of warnings though, both in my old Mazda Miata.

I also was pulled over in Atlanta GA this spring on my way to North Carolina. The officer said that my tires were on the white line, then ask me a few lame ass questions before finally asking me if I had been drinking (@ 10am lol). He then made a few comments about my Hydro Blue JK Polar which made me thing he just wanted to get an up close look at my Jeep.
