|jpdocdave||i'm suprised, i had good luck w/ rough country. i've also used sky jacker, and rancho, all were decent springs. i've used tuff country, and they were terrible. super stiff, and were much taller than stated. i think they were boxed wrong, when you put 2" springs soa, and they don't even settle to 4" it kinda sucks. had to remove springs and make a bastard pack for that jeep to make it down to earth.|

plenty of clearance clarance
not with rough country though, i cant stress that enough...
im guessin ya prolly want some input from other jeep dewds, but i have run 4" kits from (skyjacker, superlift, rubicon express, and trailmaster), so i got a good grip on things.
i had a buddy run the rough country lift, so im very familiar with that one too.

|abercrombie_fierce||with a true 4" of lift, will 33's be stuffed or will they have plenty of clearance?|

couldina sed it bedder miselph..
doctor hit the nail on the head.
its not like liftin a truck (suspension kits come a few inches taller inthe front to compensate for nosedive and ultimately level yer truck;
jeep suspensions, if ya git a 4" lift, ya git 4" springs all around.
if ya get a crap 4" lift (rough country), you will get under 4" cuz the lift sux.
if ya drop a few xtra bux and get yerself a quality (rubicon express lift), then you will net about 6" and will settle around 4-5"
they are night and day.

|jpdocdave||depends on the brand, but most will settle right around 4" of lift. but at first it will be closer to 6 for a short time till they settle in. and whatever kit you buy, should be level.|

whats the actual lift height of a 4" suspension for the YJ?
I was just curious what is the actual lift height of a 4" skyjacker, superlift, etc... suspension lift. Is it usually more than 4"? Is it usually taller in front? It will be going on a 4cyl. , soft top, factory bumper. Also how much lift do you need in front to level with the rear. Please give me as much detail as possible. thanks.
