|jokerchief462||If you buy a new Jeep and keep it stock usually there is no issues with the DW. It is only when parts are worn or modification to the steering geometry after a lift etc. that things can go wrong. Yes you can get DW on a stock Jeep but something has gone wrong either worn or a bent or broken part. With the thousands of Jeeps on the road and their current design yes they are prone to DW but it shouldn't keep you from buying a Jeep and contrary to popular belief they don't spend all their time in a shop for maintenance. i run an 89 YJ and with all the right parts and maintenance no DW yet wheels all weekend and behaves on the road but lots of new parts and constant maintenance.|

|Tweak||deathwobble will always be an issue with solid front axle vehicles, not just jeeps. F250's have issues too. it has known causes and generally the issue can be figured out in an hour or so. there is an AWESOME thread in the JK section that explains everything you need to know. after reading that thread I had my problem figured out before I even looked at my jeep.|

Shold I worry about Death Wobble?
I saw that Crystler put a TSB out for death wobble. From what I've read though it seems like it still may be a problem.
I'm afraid of buying a new jeep and it spending mroe time in the shop and me being told that mytire pressure is wrong, or that I hit a bump, (? Off road vehical and death wobble is blamed on a bump?) .
Since this is a jeep forum I'm going to guess you guys are not going to steer me away from joining you in jeep ownership.
How likely am I to encounter Death wobble? Was thinking of buying new. Keeping it Stock (for a while at least)
Did anyone here know about death wobble before buying a jeep and still bought one?
