cron-ex I just ordered this exhaust today. Amazon wanted wanted $500 w/ free shipping. But they had one in the amazon warehouse deals as open box for $381. I emailed them asking if they would take an offer and they said for this one time if I ordered it and emailed them back with my order number they would give me 25% off. So I did and an hour later they emailed me and said my price was adjusted to $288. So I hope it's worth it. And the tips will not be going on I don't think. So anyone want to buy some tips!

yengineer Have it installed on my '13 JKU, love the sound as I was going purely for noise and looks. But, if you don't care about the tips, and are aiming for the loudest growl possible, a muffler delete will probably be best. A friend of mine removed his muffler and it makes me wish that I had done the same instead of paying $530 for this.

Rmiller31 Looks cool but I'd prob crush those tips first trip out. I got a flowmaster 40 welded up under the driver seat for about 150$ installed. Sounds great and doesnt have a ricey tone.

legitposter Keep in mind the Metal Mulisha is the same system as the other Gibson dual offering which costs half the price. The other one, of course, is not black and does not have fancy tips. You can save half of the money by buying the cheaper system if you're just planning to remove the Mulisha's tips anyways.

Yea it's all bolt on so you can easily take them off, there is also the 3.5"-4" tip exhaust, same price just smaller tips. I'm glad I went with this exhaust, the sound is bad ass and aggressive. I didn't want my jeep to sound like a race car by going with the other cheap brands, that's why I went with this.

ohioviper The stock exhaust pipe is a good quality SS pipes and any shop can mount the new muffler in place of the stock one for less than $50.If you like magnaflow just pick up the muffler of your choice. End results will be the same sound. Its all marketing. Cut open most any brand and you will find mostly the same design baffles.

socal-jk No it won't. Flowmaster will sound nothing like a Magnaflow. Guaranteed. Its all personal preference........... also these are cat back direct fit bolt on kits. You buy a muffler off amazon of you can't weld you're off to a muffler shop and hope your exhaust doesn't get too hacked up.

ohioviper The prices are ridiculous. You can pick up a flow master with single in and dual out for a late model camero for under $100 and swap it with the stock muffler and it will sound basically the same as these $500 systems.

socal-jk Here is Magnaflows single exit on mine. I decided against the dual tip as I figured it wasn't a Camaro and I worry enough about banging up the one side.
05-05-2013 10:09 PM
nocibur2 I did just notice that Magnaflow makes a black dual tip cat back exhaust system for the JK's also. The tips on their system look to be just a little bit smaller. Pricing is the same. Might be worth looking at.

123Jato It does look better on 4 door then 2
05-05-2013 10:02 PM
BacaraJKU This is the system I'm getting. I've seen comments that it looks big on 2 door, but fits 4 door. Not sure what that means, but maybe the bigger jku offsets tip size??? Probably help to lift with meatier tires to offset tip size as well.

123Jato If you don't like the tips, the regular gibbson exhaust sounds pretty much the same.
05-05-2013 09:58 PM
socal-jk Magnaflow. Made here in the USA in socal, designed here, 100% stainless steel life time warranty. Sounds great no drone.

ohioviper Looks like an overpriced flow master 40 with some fancy tips.
05-05-2013 09:43 PM
nocibur2 I have listened to them on all the videos & I like what I hear. Only thing I keep getting hung up on is the tips kinda remind me of what I call "grapefruit shooters". Not sure I can get past that or not. Otherwise it sounds like a heck of a good exhaust system, little pricey but you gotta pay to play! Right?
05-05-2013 09:38 PM
123Jato I have them as well and they sound great, I have done some moderate offroading and still have yet to crush them like everyone says you will.

nocibur2 I have read complaints that the tips are too big for offroading ... they'd basically take a beaten. That was going to be my next question, why couldn't you just remove the tips when you go wheeling? Thanks for posting that up.

Westside1 The sound is awesome! I would recommend taking off the the tips if you plan on wheelin though. I ride mine with no tip
