I stored all the soft top hardware in the corner of my shop. Not that I plan on buying another Bestop replacement soft top, but if I someday get a urge to sell my ride, the buyer may want to put a new soft top on it.

No hardtop. The only top will be a bikini top. So half doors is what I'll be using. I'm just looking for some nice trim to cover the screw holes I have left in the door where I removed the slider windows.
The pic shows the trim I'm trying to locate.

Jerricho It really is hard to be the MC2100 or MC2150 for both ease of use, and performance. It is what I went with and I could not be happier with it. I went from 10.5 mpg on the carter to 16.5 mpg around town. Next I am going to do the HEI upgrade, I heard that can help as well.

For 6 mpg my carb will pay for itself in short order.

2 questions: replacement carb and half door trim

I run a '88 YJ. And I've read posts cussing the Carter carb and its various problems. Mine is idle speed. I'm wondering what would be a good replacement for my carb, both in performance and price ? Also, my ride came with a battered soft top, which I removed, and don't figure on replacing. Where the windows in the half doors were attached, I now have screw holes. On a internet search, I did see a stainless trim piece that went over that top part of the door, but so far haven't found any place to purchase a set. Looking for suggestions.
