Lutzkanin I have JK rubi rims and the 32 inch BFG MTS on my tj! I ordered the DPG ultimate kit!
basically a OME lift with a JKS 1.25 inch body lift and 1 inch motor mount.

currently have the body lift and motor mount on right now. Looks AWESOME! works well. pretty cheap. and opposed to the budget boost that you will toss away when you can afford a spring lift, you can keep the body lift and motor mount with a minimal spring and shock lift. making a very capable low COG rig.

Im running the spidertrax adapters with no problems. realllllly great!

I researched and looked for over a year before putting a lift on my jeep. (mine is a red tj just like yours! lol) found that this lift kit is the best for me. definitely worth saving up for. Old Man Emu Ultimate TJ/LJ Wrangler Kit | dpgoffroad.com
that is my exact set up with stock jk rubi rims and tires.

GOOD LUCK!

1rbotma running adapters in my personal opinion is not a good idea. more parts to break and more parts for potential error. get wheels that fit the tj..

Why not get the 5 on 4.5 "moab" alloys that were made for the TJ?

Cant go wrong with Old Man Emu 2" Suspension Systems for 97-02 Jeep® Wrangler TJ - Quadratec

Of course just installing spring spacers/small body lift will be easier and cheaper, but if you can afford the OME (or other kit) you will probably be happier.

Waldo1 I don't know how to post a pic. but if you look at my profile you will see a pic of my jeep there.

deangardner can you post some pics waldo121? do you need to alter anything to run it with no lift?
05-06-2013 03:06 PM
Waldo1 I am running 32" with no lift, not saying it is the way to go, but if you don't off road heavy you can get by for a while.

Big Cole A 1.25" body lift will allow you to clear 32s without altering drive line angles.

speedyrev springs and shocks will ride better, but cost a little more

deangardner whats the downside to a bb lift as opposed to a suspension lift?
05-06-2013 02:49 PM
thgr8alex You could get a 2 inch BB lift. About 100-150 bucks. Easy install and will look great with 32s

Making my tj better

so tomorrow im buying a 2002 wrangler x with 102000 miles for 6300. it seems to be in pretty good condition and was never taken off road. it still has the steel wheels which have bald tires on them. this isnt a problem because i want to take them off as soon as possible. I was thinking of getting a lift to fit 32s and running jk wheels and tires as i can find them with newish tires for around 500 for all five. What lift should i buy to fit 32s and is it a bad idea to run the jk wheels with the adapters?
