mrwhocares Im also a newB to the Forum, I've been off-roading my whole life, including older CJ-5s & 7s but these new Rubicon's are amazing! I am facing two problems 1 I dont know how to post a forum and 2nd I'm plagued with with a new Mopar warranty Unlimited bumper to bumper, not bad for 700$ however they are counting on me altering my vehicle but the Rubicon is a very capable Jeep and in a whole new playing field for off road capability. My question is how can I improve my Jeep but stay in the warranty ( if it has a Mopar part number it can be added to the warranty via dealer installation) Ive replaced the from bumper with a 2014 MOAD bumper so I can take the wings on the bumper for rock crawling and I have a Mopar tuner so I can lock differentials, engage sway bar disconnect, adjusting speedometer and tune basically a bullydog tuner ( ALSO CAN the dealer tell I've been in the computer, it has a return to default but IDK if they record adjustments). With the combination I have now my Jeep is extremely capable to the point it will make a veteran nervous, the looker engagement in 4 high also emproves the Rubi's mud capability since it is plagued with the low gear ratio and non-lockers in 4wd, also I can completely disengage the traction control which is so, the computer is always compensating for rollover which can limit the capability in mud as well! I'm wondering if I can improve upon my Rubi but stay within the confines of "stock" because a unlimited warranty on a Rubicon is like a lifetime gift (it will transfer to children) so generations of fun! I can do some pretty heavy off-roading and my jeeps can surprise but still a stock Rubicon can be a very fun vehicle! Thanks for the help, sorry for the unorthidox post but I'm not tech savy!
Jeeps may not go threw 7 feet of mud but Ive never needed to ascending mountains!

New Rubicon Owner

Hi everyone! I did it! I finally got my Jeep!!! I just bought a 2009 Wrangler Rubicon and I go to pick it up this Thursday (Can it be Thursday yet?) I've been wanting a Wrangler since I got my licence back in 2005 and my days of wanting are over! I'm looking forward to getting involved in the Jeep community, and I hope you Jeep veterans are prepared to forgive a newbie for all the dumb questions I'm bound to ask in the near future. Anyway, I'm really excited to finally be a Jeep owner and I look forward to getting muddy!

PS: If any of you know of any Jeep groups/clubs in the Cleveland (Ohio) or Lorain County area, please share!! (Clueless newbie question #1) Thanks!!!
