Wranglin4Life There is a "switch" that plugs into the transmission. Most likely this has gone bad, careful when you pull it though, apparently its also a drain hole for the tranny fluid. This happened to someone I knew. Couldnt figure out what it was, all fuses and bulbs were good, had power and all. The switch went bad. I think advanced auto parts has the part. Its like $50 tho

n2trucking broken wire somewhere. or bad wire harness connection. Just start at the transmission where the reverse light switch is and follow the wiring back and check all connections and just the wire itself for any broken wires.

If the fuse is good and no power is at the switch then there isn't anything else to check except for broken wires and bad connections. Good luck.

No power to the backup light switch

I've checked my manual and online, nothing.

So, can someone help out, where to start?

It's a 91, 6 cyl, 5 speed

Forgot to add that the fuse is good.
