Mopar Power Dome (MOAB and MW3)
RK Sport (Fiberglass with Carbon Blister or Full Carbon Fiber)
Mopar 10A
Truck Master Designs
AEV heat reduction
EVO fiberglass with fenders
Omix-Ada plain steel
River Raider Hi-Flow - pending
Hemi

PS Just found the "Hemi Hood" for a G.
Crocker Offroad Vehicles :: Hemi Hood

And yet, still a mock up?

GonzoBobH Thanks, BM.

I think the poison spider does look pretty cool - as does most of their stuff.

Since I have my Ace sliders on now, starting to think of the next change.

Kind of have it down to the Mopar 10A (not yet available, it seems) and AEV heat reduction. Curious which one functions better, or if that can even be determined.

Something to ruminate on.

Let me know how you like the PS insert, if you end up going that route.

Beastmaster Hey Bob, good to have you back!

Here's another option at a fraction of the price of an entire hood, from Poison Spyder:

(I'm kind of thinking about getting this myself)

The TMD is the Truck Master (above).

The other vents and the River Raider Hi-Flow Hood, but that's not currently available. The site says they will be at the end of the month, though. So call that one pending.

pepatrick I will do the AEV hood. It's on the bucket list but will be a ways down the road...too many other mods I want to do.

The MW3 and Moab are both the same, they use the AEV hood (not a different one).

I get a lot of compliments from mine. Different, yet not "over the top".

Absolutely!

After listing, I wanted to get to comparisons: the aniversary edition v. the AEV, for example, would be a good one.

MEGA Hood Thread (some day)

How many different types of hoods are there now for the JK?

The Hood Power Bulge
The sculpted Mopar® power-dome hood.
And we have the anniversary edition with its "All-new Hood with functional vents and drainage"

What else for the JK? Anything not too obscure?

And anyone know the official title of the Anniversary hood (yea, feeling lazy).

Cheers,
Bob
