Tanks ^^^
I just took my doors off for the end of summer and had an entire paper towel roll suddenly spool out the back like an enormous streamer on a canyon road. Thankfully no one was around me... It had all blown off down the wash by the time that I stopped to go get it.

I was an I.T. Field Technician which involved a lot of travel. When on call, 24/7, I would stock up my Jeep so when a call came in I could just go and not have to make a side trip to the shop to pick up parts etc. On one beautiful summer day with the top down as I was headed for a call into a mountainous resort area, 150 miles out of town, I happened to look into my rear view mirror and catch just a glimpse of a receipt printer and bar code scanner seemingly levitating weightless in the back and just as I started to downshift and hit the brakes out they went. I caught sight of them in my side mirror as they hit the road and literally exploded into many small pieces. I did have spares with me but had a hard time keeping a straight face as I explained the inventory shortage to my boss. The look on his face.....priceless!
I picked up a cargo net the next day.

CactusPants You have to buckle the passenger side seat belt cause your dog sets off the alarm when he's going bumming with you

Lesson learned; the passenger floor, always use the passenger floor.

toddster8 Well, it was a little bit blustery that night. Topped out on the ridge and the full force of the wind caught me broadside. There's a spot about a hundred yards past that where we have a perpetual motion waterfall in the spring... the wind blows the waterfall back up the cliff and across the road. Where it goes back into a culvert and out above the cliff. Again. Good free car wash!

unboundmo You know you drive a jeep when you think washing your car/truck involves a pressure washer with no soap

Because we have a lot more to worry about. In a lifted rig you have to think about all the other people on the road in the "prius" and worry about death wobble or how much gas you have.

Brilliant.

I have kept my wallet in my front left pocket for about 30 years. Since I purchased my Jeep, the wallet resides in my front right pocket. Front left remains vacant at all times while in the Jeep.

...and how long they've been off. This hasn't been the best year for weather but, I haven't even seen my doors since June. I think their hidden behind a bunch of boxes in the corner of the garage.

Amen. Pretty crappy summer with all this rain in So Flo. But it's been blazing hot at the same time so I guess top on isn't too bad. Oh well, there's always fall and winter
