Could've happened... You might want to check under you column and see if someone tried messing with it. It could have just finally given out on you, too...
Yea like it would do the same thing as now until I wiggled it, I'll check it out again here in alittle

I know FSJs had some weird things happen with the switch and tilt-wheel columns where you could adjust it to get it to work right again - bit I don't know about YJs having that be a common problem...

Ahhh! Probably the ignition switch then, like y'all are thinking...

My J-truck did that when I got it and that's what I replaced. When switched to "on" it'd fall forward and if you jiggled it just right you could get power but no start... I started off by adjusting the ignition switch and could get it to get power when the key would turn forward and then rigged a switch to start. Finally just replaced the ignition switch and it works like a charm now.

Squirrel 442 does the jeep power on when you turn it to the on position? If so try to bridge the starter to see if it starts.

bc3_Jeep Were there any SHIMS on the starter when you took it off????

Squirrel 442 Try to start it with ignition in on position by bridging the two big posts on the solenoid. Be safe have the e brake on. This usually will by pass ignition / safety sensor issues.

Keymo I know this sounds stupid - but are you sure all of your grounds are hooked up and proper as well?

Almost positive, I'll check again tomorrow, I'll feel dumb if I did considering there's only one wire
