AC0QR I remember reading somewhere that Quadratec discourages taking apart slider uppers, as they are difficult to put back together. That being said, I have never taken mine apart. But I want to. Let me know how it goes!

Upper door question

Does anyone know if the slider style upper doors can be taken apart? The frame inside my upper door is rusty and is now staining my lower door on both driver and passenger sides. If possible, I would sand and paint the inner framework on the upper doors to eliminate this.

Also, is there a product that will remove the stain on the lower doors at this point? There is a vertical stripe down the middle of both doors--but the paint looks good. Something like CLR might work--but it might damage the paint--idk.
