HanJ3 I love the look and the idea,. I am in the same boat,. new bumper is expensive and I like the look of the bare bumper

Yeah I understand, unfortunately I'm not the best fabricator and I've never really welding before, maybe a handful of times. Not enough to make a durable/reliable front bumper... And I planned on filling those larger holes with the stock fogs like this..

I'll look into it once more to see if it's something I can handle but thanks for the input

And if I f it up it'll give me a reason to buy a new bumper hahah win win

WranglerJR83 In all honesty man, it's probably just as easy to make a bumper. You have to remove the plastic cover and the crush cans. You will probably want to stubby it to get rid of the ripples from the bend. Then you have to place a piece of plate over the face with holes cut for the fog lights and holes drilled for the mounting bolts. That would be the easiest way pending you aren't a great welder and fabricator. Good luck

Fogs in Stock Steel Bumper

Hey I need some help. I'd like to take that huge plastic bumper off and just run the steel bumper underneath... I'd buy a bumper but being a college kid it's tough... Anyway I want to use my stock fog lights but I don't know how to mount them. I've seen some threads on this but the directions are sketchy and unclear. Any help would be appreciated
