JellisTJ Hey, thanks for the reply. Actually just joined the group last week and a fellow member helped me out. My biggest problem is a crossthreaded drain plug leaking.

Id definitely meet up. Looking forward to a nice none blacktop ride!

InvisiblePants Hey jellis, are you a member of Charleston Area Jeep Spot? You can find us on Facebook. It would be a great place to join and ask for help. You might even find a few people to help diagnose your problem. From the location of your leak sounds like it could be your rear main seal going.

If you want to meet sometime let me know. Perhaps we could go roam some forest service roads sometime.

charleston mechanic?

So my tj seems to be leaking from the transmission. Some from the 17mm hex plug on the bottom and some from up between the oil pan and tranny. Sad day.

Anyway, anyone have a good recommendation for a shop to go to? Maybe not too far from west ash. Also, anyone want a new jeep buddy? Wife and I started keeping to ourselves after we got a house. LoL we're too young for that!
