Serg5000 Stan I'm trying to plan ahead here. Have you guys rebuilt a 3.8 yet or do you recommend just getting a rebuilt from the dealer. My jeep is getting up there in miles.

Also do you have any suggestions in upgrades for when rebuilding my transmission.

Thats what I was going to do. When I asked on another forum, they seemed surprised at me wanting to ditch the hardware. That's when I thought to ask you. Thanks Stan.

We weld every bracket and eliminate the hardware.

Serg5000 Stan. I was wondering if you have ever installed a EVO plush ride lift kit?
I'm asking because the instructions say to bolt up the rear track bar bracket using u-bolts. Then weld it to the axle tube. It doesn't make any sense to me to leave the u-bolts on once welded. That said. The instruction make no mention of removing the u-bolts.

The Omf domes work very well, and they work on just about every make of bead lock

Dougzin Dan we were talking last weekend about your bolt heads on your Trail Ready slim rings, and I have a bit more protection with the TR rock ring but was curious your take on these? Any input Stan? Even with the more protection with my different ring with the 5-8 trips I've done since I got my beadlocks there is some marks on my bolt heads.

That is where I put mine Doug. It works great there. I think it also benefits from my GenRight fenders mesh screen which helps keep the compressor from over heating.

I actually removed that for my PSC flares, lookin in the engine compartment there's not many other options lol.

Doug, the 400s fit very well on the optional ABS platform to the left of the master cyl. It's tight to get them in, but one it's down there it's good

JPi1 Bob brought in his beautiful Toy Landcruiser, 6.0 genIII Chevy, Atlas, RJ 60s front and rear. He said "drive it". So I did. Fun to drive, I'm sure more fun in the rocks!
