4point Welcome 386motoring, I actually like the paint job. The wheels not so much, but there is a buyer for every car.

That is because not everyone wants a good paint job ruined by brush on the trails and some people like standard white/red/yellow. Classics

For a Beach/Tail cruiser it was a pretty nice jeep but I'd hate to see the hard work the artist put into the paint get ruined by a big rock or a nasty thorn bush on a trail. I'd love to have a CJ to cruise around in with a slick paint job and a kicking system but alas I don't have that kind of money. =(

And I thought the 4 cyl Power house engine comment was just good marketing. Silly but it seemed to have worked. =P

I live a few blocks from the beach, the entire jeep has been coated with anti-rust coatings and there are no exposed metals on it either so that is where i came up with that statement. The jeep was built to sell.

Thanks for spreading the word on it. The paint wasn't that expensive. I went to the jeep meet in Daytona last weekend and can understand why you guys would think that. Well in my part of Florida the Jeeps are big. My Jeep is black and people are always looking at it. To each his own. Nice paint job....just not my style.

Check this out, kindly too much of a paint job considering it would be toast on trails but pretty sweet looking I thought, rims are my fav.

Ol' Red Sweet! The 4 cylinder powerhouse and detroit lockers on stock axles! I am placing my bid right now. Plus a paintjob that doesn't match. What a deal.

tmbrdr69 Looks like an incomplete show rig to me. Definitely a trailer queen. TOO much money tied up in the paint job to go bouncing around on the back trails.

MouthfulOfGrass I do like the color that was used on the wheels....

Wow! That's awesome......not

$8K for the Jeep or the paint job? I'll buy, but seller required to re-paint, buy replacement for spare tire and rim and install bigger motor. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice paint job, but the spare just throws it off

Jerry Bransford Not my style Jeep or wheels but thats a great paint job. Some auto painters are true artists.

whitebuffalo for a beach/tail hunting rig, i think itd be perfect.

slf41002 Hey I would and one day will have a true flame paint job or ghost flames one and I would still take mine wheeling but all in all those wheels would be the first thing to go.I would swap them to the first person with factory steelies that came by,if they would have them.

daanbc Hey! Don't let this monstrosity leave you thinking this is what the perfect florida jeep is. THAT IT AIN'T, Yeah i used the word ain't so what. Who would spend that kind of dough on a paint job on a four banger.?

MouthfulOfGrass I always wondered what "the perfect Florida vehicle" would look like. Now I know.
05-12-2009 08:50 AM
laxpatrick Coolest wrangler on the road - with the obvious qualifier for the 4 cylinder hotness...

/no offense intended
05-12-2009 08:23 AM
cret0013 It is a pretty nice paint job... but i would never want that on my jeep...
05-12-2009 04:35 AM
BLACKTOOTHGRIN This thing is obviously not a trail rig, so what.
Its a great look'n paint job though, and a nice color choice.
The airbrushing is fantastic.
It may not be everyones cup of tea, but I bet it sure got him some extra attention from those nice look'n Florida Ladies.
And that's probably exactly what the little guy was hoping for.

with all that work in the paint job, i woulda like to have seen something done with the "jeep" logo

maybe used the "ee" in jeep as the "eyes" of a skull ?
05-11-2009 10:52 PM
spanky like it or not, that paint job is really cool.

id never put it on my jeep, but i can appreciate the work that went into it, and the talent that it took to pull it off.
05-11-2009 10:48 PM
CBlackburn 603TJ beat me to it! All that work and a stock spare on the back. Prioritize! It's like the 83 Toyota celica running spinner rims and a $4,000 stereo. What are they thinking.
