gr8fulKID a little pricey but comes with a cb mount Rancho RS6207B - RANCHO® RockGEAR™ Rear Door Cover Plate for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

I have the paramount tire carrier as well but don't use this rancho cover so im not sure if the cb bracket will clear the carrier when closed

Burger16b Got some rubber corks also but didn't like the look so I went to lowes and searched the hardwhere section where all the nuts and bolts are. In one of the trays they have automotive tree plugs. Found some big gm ones that were roughly the size and used some clear rtv to stick them in place. Looks good now

TigheK Was wondering the same thing. I'd been planning on using one of JCR's Tailgate Cover Plates when I install their rear bumper next month.

chuckr I used rubber grommets and rubber corks from Ace Hardware. Put the grommet in, and then put some RTV on the cork and push it in till its snug....Nice and clean, and waterproof!

enjerhoo I built an aluminum patch to the same dimensions as the tire carrier. I used an old beat up truck box from a rolled Ranger. Cut it into the trapezoid shape, polished it with a wire wheel, hit it with some aluminum wheel cleaner, clear coated it & bolted it up with some stainless steel bolts. It turned out pretty well for the cost of a few bolts & washers.

Plenty of vendors offer replacement patches if you want a manufactured look.

New Tire Carrier, Now what about the tailgate holes ?

Ok, changed to the Paramount Restyling Bumpers and Tire Carrier. I removed the Rubber Snubbers in the tailgate and 3rd light assembly wiring harness. Now what is everyone doing to plug or cap the holes in the tailgate. I've been to Jeep parts dept. and No plugs available. Thanks.
