I have the Softopper for almost a year not and I love it, the fast back look is really cool but I don't care much for the look because I use it for the function of a cover up when it rains or gets too cold.
I previously had a hardtop so this works best for me. No hardware and its really easy to install and remove. Perfect for someone who likes to have the top off as much as possible.

Frameless looks cool on and also provides a safari top.
I like framed because in my area it can rain in the afternoon at the drop of a hat so I just flip my top up in 2 minutes. Also I have quick disconnects so I can take the whole frame and everything off.

|BDJeep79||The only con I have is that it's a pain to install if it's not above 70 degrees. Was putting it back on last night after it got a little cool out and probably took 20-30 mins. Had to let the heater run to get it to stretch.|

Must be soft top appreciation day on wranglerforum!
Pros of the frameless:
Looks awesome IMO
Depending on the brand you have a sun rider option
Back window and sides store into the top
Eliminates frame from rear side windows
I've had minor leaks up front
My Jeep is no longer unique as they grow in popularity
Takes longer to put back on than a framed top folded back
You can't take the top with you if you want some sun (easily)
Kind of a PITA to re install if you're by yourself.
Rugged Ridge doesn't offer replacement windows if they get damaged.

What are our guys opinion on frameless tops? Give me some opinions from both sides I am looking to buy a new top and need some pros and cons from my fellow jeepers.
