Jaxon1023 I'm fixing to install 4.88 usa standard gears (Yukon) in a couple weeks. I'll let you know how it goes lol

JTs Parts and Accessories Justdifferentials.com worked with Mike Mundinger. Was a great guy!! Real helpful!! Emailed me a price quote to look over first with all parts and install kits.

I'll agree. If you look at what they are made of, it's the same Heat treated 8620 metal.

I just put the Motive on mine 700 miles ago and, after the 500 mile break in period, they are performing well and are very quiet at 700 miles.

O_M_Jeep I used Motive Gear with Nitro master install kits. Very complete install sets and very nice gear sets. Also you might try East Coast Gear & Supply (ECGS).

Wesboy I got Nitros for mine - showed them to 2 independent reputable dana diff installers - they both said the finish on them was below average and I could expect noise from them.
Had them installed for over a year now and they haven't missed a beat - also haven't had any noise

rusty1 Just had Nitro gears installed last month. Have about 1200 miles on them, very quiet.

dwigs Yukon, Nitro, Motive, G2, and Superior (if you can find them) are all good options. I am going Motive, personally after a lot of reading and consulting my 'go to/advice' expert.

Telarian I just did gears. I have the same setup you have. I did 5:13 nitros from JT's. There is a thread titled 4:56 or 4:88??? On here by me with more info!!!

1rbotma i just installed some g2 gears and the install kit. it went well. no complaints yet and i haven't heard anything bad about g2

What Manufacturer Does Anyone Suggest For My New 4.88 Gears I need to Purchase?

Curious what brand people prefer. About to order two sets for my Automatic Rubicon with 33's. What brand people have had good experiences with and which ones should I stay away from.
