TXHillCountryTJ I bought a radiator with the lifetime warranty from RadiatorBarn March of 2013 and guess what? Yep, it's leaking. Thanks for the info above. I have a call into Keystone and I have my receipt so hopefully it's fairly easy.

Keystone/LKQ corporate office: 615-781-5200, I spoke to Karrie "Clock" (Clock is not her last name but it sounds like clock). A couple days later I got a call from the Keystone location in Minneapolis. They were going to send me a metal/plastic radiator like the OEM but I said "now way, I paid for all metal and I'm getting an all metal replacement". He sent it with no resistance.

FYI. Radiatorbarn.com was owned by Lake Shore Radiator. You will need to note that you bought your radiator from Lake Shore to make a claim. Get a picture of both the leak and the serial number that is on a white sticker at the bottom of the radiator.

I'm happy to report to you all a very rare win for the "little guy".

I'm glad to hear this all worked out for you. I'm going to be dealing with the exact same issue right now. I called keystone and asked about the replacement. Keystone tells me I will need to fax them the original sales receipt. Which I probably don't have. Did you need to send in any receipts" i hope I get a win too.

Thnx

03Ruth That's good to know. I bought a replacement radiator from them well over a year ago and haven't had a problem yet but....

Gixxer86g Keystone sucks.

Just buy a new radiator and be done with it.

hrun Had the original brass radiator in my 89 Toyota truck develop a hole in the top. Used JB weld to patch the hole pressed the ball of epoxy into the hole and let set overnight never had a failure. I put 300,000 on the truck before trading it. The JB weld plug was still intact.

Victor Ward Yeah, I know. When a company buys another they are also buying their liabilities.
I got the run-around from several people, being transferred from phone to phone with people telling me "not my problem" or "we don't honor other peoples warranties". I was getting really pissed off trying to tell these so-called managers that "when a company buys another they also buy their liabilities" theses idiots couldn't handle that concept. Even people in their corporate office were passing me around until I found the one honest woman who took care of me.
I was certain I would get screwed. The lifetime warranty was the entire reason I bought that radiator as my replacement.

CoreyZ When companies buy out other companies, they have to honor the previous company's warranty and products.

Victor Ward Oh, I used JB Weld on the old radiator as a temporary hold. It seems to be holding well. Ill swap in the new one when that lest go or another hole develops.

clarkkent Call the corporate number?
Take it out and to a shop so they can solder it?
Call your credit card company you purchased it with and see if they can help?

Radiator Barn does NOT exist! What do I do???

I followed the radiator replacement on 4x4xpolr as I'm sure may others did. I even got the lifetime warranty radiator recommended from Radiator Barn as I'm sure others did as well.

Well this week it sprung a leak at the top on the passenger side.

GUESS WHAT???!!! Radiator Barn was purchased this week by Keystone (never heard of them) who are transferring me from one place to another. I can tell I'm going to get !@#%^. Their corporate # is 615-781-5200

What should I do?
