Yep, I installed them when I did the disconnect install. I bought the GM ones from NAPA that are about 3.5 inches longer.

Xpress Watch those brake lines!!!

M 89 is sitting on 1" shackles with quick disconnects, stock leafs, 29" tires, and at full flex I had my brake lines taught. Any more and they would have snapped off. Your lift will have you snapping them.

Consider longer brake lines, or relocating the mounting bracket.

I dont really have experience in this matter other than what the PO of my jeep used it for. He towed it behind an RV from FL to alaska for a 2 month trail ride experience and back down again. He has ARB air lockers in it and had no issues towing it considering it is still alive and well in my driveway

rykemc This past thanksgiving we took my wife's TJ and my dad's scrambler up to their place in the mountains of New Mexicco for some wheeling. When we left I unhooked the sway bar from my wife's TJ and I asked my dad if he wanted me to do his. He said no. So off we went. We made it to the top of a moderate trail. On the way back down I asked dad if he still wanted his sway bar hooked up. He told me to unhook it so he could see how it did. We got to the bottom of the mountain to the highway and I was hooking the sway bars back up and asked dad what he thought. He told me it made such a difference on how his jeep handled that he wished he would have let me do it before we hit the trail.

AZ_Zoner I just installed a set disconnect because of some obstacles I could not clear when out on the trails. We just got stuck to many times with only two tires on the ground. So along with tire pressure changes, I was really happy with what I could clear after installing it and being able to disconnect the sway bar. Ours isn't a DD and we flat tow it behind a motor home so going with lockers is kinda out of the questions to help with traction. So I bought my jeep with some work already done. I have sway bar disconnect pins. I have yet to remove them for any trails. Honestly I haven't had much time to play around at all. I've been looking at the flex thread and drooling. I know Im limited cause I'm not soa but I'm curious to know how much more flex I can expect when I disconnect the sway bar. I did remove the track bars last week. I have 2.5 suspension and 2 body and I'm on 31's. Like I said, I know I'm going to be limited but my wife likes to drive the jeep as much as I do and I can't go any higher with the lift as per her being 5 foot nothing lol.
