Rooster76 I have read that the hidden hitch one sticks a bit farther out than most. It will allow for some bike racks to fit without an extender (that wouldn't otherwise). It's my understanding though that it can also bang your shins because of the longer length. Other hitches that are shorter (more like the factory one) can use a hitch extender for about $20 at Harbor Freight with coupons that are all over the place. You can get a pretty good deal on a shorter length one here. ( Rugged Ridge 11580.51 Black Receiver Hitch Kit with Wiring Harness for Jeep JK Wrang... )

Good luck finding a good solution.

Hitch Question

I have a great 4 bike rack and would like to find an appropriate hitch to use with it. Does anyone use one of the bolt-on hidden hitch jobs with a 4 bike rack? Have you been pleased with it? Anything to be aware of? Thanks!
