divialips Thanks for the info. After some research I left the sway bar out and kept in the factory track bar with a relocation bracket and replaced the front shocks with a set of skyjacker 5-6" lift mono tubes. Wow what a difference, the ride is so much better.

roadyrob with 5" of lift you will max out the ford shock when you flex, they will work on a road jeep or mild off road, they are about perfect for 3 1/2- 4" lift. I run the ford shocks front and rear with 2 1/2" lift, mine would bottom out if I didn't have extended bump stops. if you do decide to try them the ones you want are for the 4 wheel drive truck. 1997 f150 rear on front. 1974 f250 rear on rear.

97 F150 rear shocks for front of my 95 YJ

Like all jeeps with a leaf spring suspension you will have a bumpy ride. My front shocks are toast and I heard rear shocks from a 97 F150 will work? Mine are leaking pretty bad.

If anyone has links or can direct me in the right direction.

I already set my shackle bolts to 40 ft lbs and removed the sway bar, that helped a lot.
