I'm fishing for fish ;-). Hooking up on mullet and blues. Have 6 I'm taking home. A few croakers, spots, pinfish. Enjoying the afternoon/evening. I got 9 hours in yesterday, and 11 hours in tonight, think it's time for me to head home! Haha!

Looks like it. It's definitely getting fuel now and the spark plug is wet but still not starting. I'm thinking now a new spark plug might be in order.

Raiderfan001 My small piece of metal stopped being effective...power tools to the rescue! Drilled all of the crud out of there lol.

Shifty219 Paper clip works great, hard to come by these days... Who uses paper clips lol
Yesterday 02:34 PM
Raiderfan001 Can't see through it, it's clogged up completely lol. Now to find something small enough to clean it out...

Shifty219 That is the Jet you are trying to take out, as long as you can see through it, its good. The metal tab is on the float itself. It usually has a clip that attaches the float to the needle to pull it out to allow fuel in and the tab on the float closes it

A good way to set is to hold the carb upside down and the float should set level or just a touch angled up like 2 degrees. If its more than this I would say its shutting the fuel off early.
There is a little metal tab that pushes the needle up, carefully bend it up till the float sits level with the carb body
No it's been pretty much dry except for the very first time I took it off. I'm not seeing a little metal tab though. Don't see anything that looks like it adjusts the needle.

In the first pic you can see the screw is just stripping when I try to take that apart.

Is this the needle you mean? It has no contact when the float is all the way down but does get pushed in just barely when I move the float up...maybe just a millimeter or two.
