denisbaldwin I sold my soundbar because it bothered me and replaced it with rear fender well speakers/storage boxes from Tuffy. Much better solution.

Abomination93 Well the sound bar that came on my jeep had blown speakers, so I installed some pioneers (4") about 7+ years ago and they are just now starting to rattle on heavy bass.

My sound bar is a cheap 2 speaker design with 4" speakers, it came with the jeep when I bought it in 2002. Never had a reason to upgrade as I can hear the music with the top on 20+ feet away at highway listening volume.

I say get quality speakers and a quality bar. If it comes with speakers sell them to some high schooler and put the quality ones in your jeep.

How is the overall sound quality would you say? I did just shell out $100 for the front speakers, so sound quality is important in what I'm looking for. I know most of the sound bars have a "premium" varient that have extra speakers and/or tweeters installed, and was wondering if that really makes a big difference.

Does anyone know if I can get a sound-bar without the speakers so I can add my own? Or do you think that the speakers it came with are good enough? Thanks.
The biggest problem with the soundbars, is if you're ove 6' tall. The other is that the sound sux, and passengers getting in the back seat get head bruises! Get a new set of dash speakers from Q-tec, and a sub. Problem solved.
