Gbobva Family is in town the weekend, so I am out.

QuietSpike I was planning on going, but been in bed for 2 days with some kind of respiratory illness. Was hoping to feel better this morning, but I don't. I have to say that I'm out, unfortunately.

This will now be the second trip I'm missing due to someone's illness.

Jeepmon65 Dan I hate to bail, however, I have a house full of girls with the stomach bug. I thought my oldest was on the mend, however, she's feeling poorly again this morning and now my wife and youngest are sick!

I think I'll stay at the office for the next few days so I don't get it too! :0)

Again, sorry to bail! I don't bail unless there's no other choice!

Have a good time and let's try to do it again late June or July!

AM, PM. Close enough!

We'll be meeting you at Safeway, it's pretty close to my house.

Just in case, as we have the stomach bug in our household right now, I'll send you a private message (once I figure it how to do so) the morning of. We should be in good shape though, took the 9 year old to the ER this morning because we were concerned she was dehydrated, however, she was only mildly dehydrated and now seems to be on the mend. Just hope no one else gets it since we all plan on going!

I'll bring Bo my hand helds in case none of the others have one.

Yes this weekend 25 May, Peter's Mill Run. I'm confused all the time with Jeep things happening every weekend.

Since its just is leaving from leesburg would you rather leave for the high school? It's not a madhouse on Saturday morning like sheetz is.
I have a couple hand helds too. Which high school? We could meet at 8 and then 8:30 at haymarket Sheetz if anyone wants to meet there.

As for what to bring. Do you have a CB or hand held radio. Other than that, your stock Jeep will do fine.

I don't know my way around out there so if I can't meet up with you guys I'm not going to make the trip at all.
What route are you taking? If you're going down 66 to 81 an alternate place to meet is Sheetz in Haymarket.

Dan, I say we meet at the Sheetz in Leesburg, I see you at 8:00 am in one week, hopefully, we'll see c3j3 there too.

I know you're bringing coffee, any suggestions or requests for me to bring? Is there be anyplace along the trail we can have a campfire and cook some hot dogs or someplace close we can grab lunch?

lynskynbnd Rapidan WMA is great for kids.
Easy trail and lots of places to stop and let the kids play in the water.
I like the Middle River Tract best

Rapidan Wildlife Management Area (WMA)

Not so great during hunting season, but great for camping otherwise.

That is 3 hours to Rausch creek 18 May. We're talking about Peter's Mill on 25 May, so 8AM should be fine.
