sparsons79 Thanks! I'm glad the wife talked md I to a 4 door as well.

Went with White even though I really liked Dune, but couldn't find one close enough to me to view in person.

sparsons79 Just ordered the Jeep!
My breakdown with tow, 4.10, hardtop, connectivity group and auto transmission.
$33,890 Jeep
$599 doc fee....would not budge
$1,019...state and local tax
$254...license fees

$35,759.79 total to my door step, as they are delivering it from Georgia to North Carolina.

sparsons79 Good point! I was just looking ant it's about $200 for Mopar hitch and wiring on Ebay. Haven't looked at aftermarket yet.

sparsons79 Invoice is $36,061. I'm waiting to hear back the Internet Sales guy on my cost breakdown because he said out the door I will be at $35,759.70. That includes North Carolina 3% highway tax, then title , reg, but I want to see the breakdown for doc fee, etc.

Honestly, if you are like 99% of us, the finance guy is gonna walk up and say "hey i got you 3.1%" and you're gonna say "OK". . . or is he gonna say 3.3%, and guess what...there went you $390

JUST GO GET IT.! ! ! !

ask him to throw in some oil changes if thats something that interests you.

RoadiJeff What's the invoice price on that? You can find it by going to someplace such as cars.com or Edmunds.com and build it. It shows you the MSRP and the invoice at the end. Then use 1% below invoice as a starting point in the negotiations and try to go down from there.

Be careful if you negotiate a good deal and you have something to trade. They'll probably try to make up the difference there.

Check out the invoice pricing on Edmunds.com, Kelly Blue Book and NADA car pricing guides. -- all free on line. If the price with accessories is at or below invoice, then you are getting a decent deal Take whatever price you then get from that dealer, again at or below the invoice level, and then go to other Jeep dealers in the area and see how much they are willing to beat that price by. Also, dealer processing fees, which here in Virginia are as high as $ 500, are also often negotiable. In neighboring Maryland, the fees are capped at $200. So, bottom line is to shop around. Sounds like you are being appropriately cautious. Good luck.

JeepArn looks descent. But never hurts to push a tad bit more. The dealer we bought from had a 'spin a wheel for a deal' after you bought a vehicle from them. most prizes on this wheel were lower budget items/services. But one was $500 off your deal. So I told them if they'ed through that in as our spin, we'd sign on the dotted line. They agreed but still had to have us spin.. amazing what some added weight on the opposite side of the wheel will do for your luck at hitting the $500 prize .

I'd push a little and if they say no, walk out; chances are they'll call you shortly agreeing to the deal.
