Rodney1T1 Was planning on having someone do the lift and getting tires and rims online. Kappa what your suggesting sounds great...now I need to find some people to hook up with and learn from them. Really looking forward to getting out and hitting the trail and making new friends.

01TJ60 Are you looking to do the work yourself or us an installer?

kappaknight I'd wheel with a group a few times before doing mods. You'll know what you need, and what the group can provide if you go a few times - this will help you prioritize your mods.

jandaso on 5 tires depending which one you get you are going to spend around 1500+ easily .... plues you need wheels (rims) ... winch also depending on what you get you are going to spend 400+ (recommend engo 10K....jeepaddons.com) front bumper and rear bumper is also a 600+ investment there... man it really depends on what you get ... 5k will get you all of that IMO do good research ... if you see something you like check reviews ..... if you decide to go Smittybilt XRC bumpers , tera flex short arms lift kit, warn winch plus some KM2 .... mmm i dont think 5K will be enough specially if you are getting someone else to install all of that.

Rodney1T1 Looking at getting 35's and spend around 5k. Was also told would be cheaper to do 3" instead of 2 1/2 is this true? And I am a firm believer that you get what you for.

MosesTJ How much are you looking to spend is probably the first question. What size tires are you going to run?

Rodney1T1 Appreciate the input

big-daddy-dumas teraflex lifts seem to work well, you want the one with springs and shocks,

roof top tents look great, but i have never seen 1 in person
