Jeffk1975 Looks good Scottie, going to do my headlight rings eventually.

scottieg40 Spray painted my grill and headlamp inserts flat black. I personally don't like chrome on my jeep. I think it looks pretty beast. I'm going to do the same to the bumper.

Mamefreak Finally got my aux horn wired up. Just one of the two for now until I extend the harness wiring. But it came in handy about 10 mins after I left!

12vtman Replaced my blown subwoofer with the Pyramid 6.5 Sub. Not earth shaking, but fills in nicely with the Polk Audios.

And I miss my night setting switch frequently.

This looks to have this solved. Why did I not think of this myself?

The best solutions are usually the simplest and, when you think about it, the most obvious.

Good mod, man!
The only thing I didnt consider is I also brought it back away from the glass so now my visor hits it a little on the edge. I might bend the bracket a lil more towards the glass a bit.

But I like this way better than flipping it. Plus since everything is bolted on instead of glue its more secure

O'reilly Optronics LED MCL57RBP - LED Marker/Clearance Light | O'Reilly Auto Parts

It comes with the grommet. I took a center cap, cut the hole and installed the LED.
Jeffk1975 Dropped it off for an alignment. I think I had it close but I wanted to have it put on a machine just to verify.

I hang my gopro from it an when taking it down the whole mirror came with. Always been told it would happen but its hung for 3 years with no issues!

I have a fix for it from stuff we use in patrol cars so it'll be mounted more securely so it won't happen again.

I hate it when online stores do not tell you before you check out that a part is not in stock.

I shop at a Volvo specialty shop a lot, and every product page tells the live count of that item. I have actually seen the number drop at busy times. Very helpful. And the order history page gives fairly accurate estimates on when an item will be in, should you go ahead and order something that is out of stock. It tells this this before you check out, too.

I think Quadratec has something like this now. But it is much more limited.

I wonder if such inventory control software is really expensive over the stuff many of the smaller 4x4 shops use. It seems that if they keep tabs on what they have that telling us as we shop would be an upgrade to their system and website that would not cost too much and would end up fostering some good customer relations due to the apparent transparency and honesty in the ordering process.

Otherwise, the way it is on a lot of sites seems like they simply want your money NOW and that they feel like, "Screw you, man. You'll get your parts soon enough. Quit whining!"

Hope you get your water pump soon!
