jkjeeper06 At 260 pounds total(I'm probably overestimating the weight of your gas and oil) you are absolutely fine. That's not much weight at all

Tball The bike weighs 204 lbs and the carrier is aluminum so it is 37lbs. I have read that the hitch receiver can hold up to 400 lbs (if I remember correctly but i could be wrong). The only thing with the trailer I have now is since the photo it has been run over, half burried, driven onto a pool and is not in the best of shape so I am looking for an alternative

I bet it would not be noticeable at all.

ohioviper It will probably work ok but that will be a lot of weight on the rear It will probably make it squat. I have a trailer like yours and I like that I can haul mowers atv dirt bikes ect and still have room for gas cans and gear not in the Jeep.

dirt bike towing

I have a honda crf250r that I occasionally will need to tow. I currently use a small trailer that we use on our farm for trash and what not (this is the attached pic), but am looking for something a little nicer. I am looking at getting thisLightweight Aluminum Motorcycle Carrier - The AMC-400

I have a 2009 JKU. Has anyone used this or something simular to this? I have only found one thread on here and he seemed pretty happy with his. Any other suggestions?
