jp2611 I have an '04 and a '12 and the "sailcloth" to me is very similar.....I use convertible top cleaner and a soft bristle brush on the fabric......and invisible glass on the windows after they are clean from the water and soap used (very liberally) i use my hand on the windows when spraying to help float away the dirt and not scratch.

Cleaning 2012 Soft Top

I ran a search on WF and read lots of leads. But I end up with a nagging question. 303 has separate products for vinyl and fabric. At least one other manufacturer has likewise. I think Bestop says not to use their product on 2012. My question is which to use?

It seems my soft top is a fabric coated or bonded with vinyl. Its not like a canvas. It sort of beads and wets water at the same time. I think that is because of the rough texture.

I think prior years were vinyl for sure (right?). I need comments from 2012 owners.

BTW I am in Texas and its the redish dust more than anything else that just does not want to wash off. It really builds up on the stitching. I think I am going to have to take a brush to it.
