^^^ this (What milo said; not the POG thing)
No one gave me this advice. It's great advice.
My entire family, both sides, have been military for the last 200 years or so. So when I said that I was entering into service they were like awesome, go blow stuff up. I've switched jobs several times in my military career, from combat arms to combat support. None directly translates to the civilian world. The only marketable skill I have for the outside is management skills. I'm terrified of life outside the military.
Set yourself up for life. Look at trending jobs and projected job markets and select a career field based off of that. Not just what sounds cool.
Computers look like they will be sticking around, but IT guys are dime a dozen. Programming and engineering are the best careers for computers.
Medical will ALWAYS be in high demand and is worth checking it out.
If you want Air Force, do it. You have one shot to get in, they don't take prior service but the others do. Don't like it, switch to the Army. But you can't go the other way.
My 2 cents after 16 years of service.

My son told us he wanted to serve and we were behind him %100. Of course we wanted him to join the Air Force or Coast Guard. You know serve safely and learn a trade he can use in the civilian world to make a good life for himself.
Of course he joined Army infantry even though the recruiters wanted him to do other things like X-Ray tech etc.
I love my son to death but don't be a knucklehead like him. Learn a trade or profession so you can live a comfortable life with your one day wife and kids.

|Dougzin||I appreciate it guys. I've been around the military my whole life following around my mom. It has provided us an excellent life for us and I feel it will make me a better person as a whole. I want to do something with computers so it will definitely be viable in the real world also. I looked into all of the branches and just feel the air force best suits me. I'll be speaking with a recruiter very soon and go from there though.|

2004 Rubicon 4.0 Exhaust Recommendation
(Surprise) I have a cracked front exhaust manifold or header as some may call it. Any recommendations on replacement, replace stock? aftermarket headers? What have you replaced yours with?
