Wow. Lots of changes in 4 months. After listing my intentions, Dirk at DPG recommended and customized the ultimate kit with the hd springs. The guy knows his stuff and he nailed it. The ride is amazing on and off road. I still don't have a winch though.

I have a completely loaded LJ with full under armor, full MC fenders and sliders, BOdy Armor safari rack, EXOGATE, heavy duty F/R bumpers, hardtop etc, and I run 2933's and 2942's back. I have the 2949 rear springs as well(Which are NEW and are for sale), and even with all the extra weight I have would NEVER recommend the 2949's unless your carrying well beyond the weight I do in the rear. Even when Im empty(no extra passengers, or luggage in back or on top, and a gas tank less than half full) the 2942's are a tad on the stiff side. Same with the 2934's in the front meant for the XJ.
Either way, OME's springs are on my short "approved" list.

You will also definitely need a SYE and Driveshaft if you go with the RE lift. Thats a few hundred added to the cost.
If you go with the OME and a small body lift you MIGHT not need the sye and cv.

the kit comes with monotube or dual tube shocks your choice RE also.
what i love about 1in BL is the possibility of tummy tuck and gas tank tuck. low CG and a lot more ground clearance.

What size lift are you looking at anyway? RE's 3.5" lift gives an actual 4-4.5" of lift. And what shocks come with that RE kit?

i want to do this kit but i dont know if its worth it or not because for 400 extra bucks i can get the rubicon express super flex with 8 control arms with flex joint and much more. but this seems for DD friendly i dont know what is your opinion?

P.S. One pointer, put the swing out on the bumper and install it as one piece. You can do it one at a time, but it's pretty tight squeeze with the taillight.
