The carbon fiber wouldn't have to be painted. If you got the fiberglass one it would. Given that the jeep is white, you may want to paint it which would add to the cost and might make you want the fiberglass one to keep costs down if you choose the RK route

Its up to you whether or not to go with a different hood. Personally I would opt for the 10a power dome hood. Most body shops will substitute a different hood and if it costs more than factory you just pay the difference. The body shop can get reDQulous fast Islander decals from Mopar.

blw2000 Better you than the motorcycle behind you! Glad you are OK, though!

jkjeeper06 You can get all new decals on pixeldecals.com.

I'd look at the AEV heat reduction hood or the RK hood if you're looking for something different

Miser That sucks..... Make sure that the glass is DOT Certified, because there are a lot of cut rate glass companies out there!

xzy First of all sorry it happened. If you want something other than a stock hood ask the parties concerned. If it were me I'd be happy with an original replacement. You can find decals somewhere I'm pretty sure.

I'd also insist the glass is oem.

Good luck
