thats good to know !! whats the mpg of the 95 yj ?

possibly buying an older jeep.

well as the title says i am searching for an older jeep. it will be a daily car to take me to and from work. roughly 40 miles a day, of course taking it to the beach and enjoying it !
any way, i have always liked the YJs for their front head lights. i dont mind getting a CJ or TJ at this point either.
my question is, how reliable is a older jeep like those ? most of the ones on craigslist has listed have upwards of 100k miles which is understandable, but will it break down a few hundred miles ?

i plan to change all fluids once one is in my possession and plan to take care of it like its brand new if that matters.

also, is there another site i can search for used jeeps in my area ? craigslist is plagued with liars when it comes to auto sales.
im looking to spend between 2-5k on it. much more, than the point of saving money goes out the door haha.
