Vader No, I'm going to Jasper for sure. I really wanted to do Beasely with my dog Chuy and make it a weekend.

cleveland99 Are u going to.beasly if no rain
05-17-2013 08:37 PM
Vader I think I'm going to head up to Jasper to participate in a professional mud bog Pickens County Sheriffs are putting on. I talked with one of the sheriffs tonight and he said to just give him a ring if anybody else wanted to go. So if Beasely is closed let me know if anyone wants to head up to Jasper with me.

kappaknight They need a twitter account. Much easier to update than the website.
05-17-2013 12:59 PM
cleveland99 Well.lets hope they dont get a inch of rain so.we.can go
05-17-2013 12:54 PM
Michigunman I just called and she said they won't know by tonight. They will close if they get an inch of rain.

She also said they will not update the website. Will try to update the phone message but no guarantee on that. Have to go with common sense as it's not a place to be in the pouring rain anyway.
05-17-2013 12:29 PM
Michigunman Sucks. If the forecast doesn't change I'm guessing they close it tonight for the weekend.
05-17-2013 12:05 PM
cleveland99 Ok just posted maybe we can go somewhere else
05-17-2013 12:04 PM
Trailsnail If it rains as forecast, Beasley may be closed Sunday. I'll check the parks website tomorrow night and Sunday morning
05-16-2013 07:36 PM
Tater Todd I'm going to try.
05-16-2013 04:53 PM

Trailsnail Satterfield Trailhead- Beginning on US 76/Highway 515 in front of the Blairsville Post Office, go east for 0.7 mile. Turn right onto Windy Hill Road, a paved road. At 0.7 mile when Windy Hill curves sharply to the left, go straight onto a gravel road. After 0.1 mile, turn left onto a narrow gravel road, Forest Service Road #851. Continue 0.8 mile to the OHV trail system parking lot.

Trailsnail Lets meet at the Satterfield trail head. Is 11:00 a good time for everyone?
