I just cut off the top two drilled holes slightly shifted and got two new lugs from the auto parts store and welded them in. Go figure I did last that and then a month later did a tire carrier so I don't even use it anymore.

I figured, just wanted to make sure. Honestly I am not sure what they are. Previous owner had them put on.

Great looking TJ.

The bedliner wasn't hard at all. I got the liner in a can from Home Depot.

Masked off the fenders, engine bay, bumper and behind the grill.
Took the headlight rings out and scuffed them up with 600 gritt.
Scuffed up the entire grill with 600 gritt.
Wiped down with damp lint free cloth.
Started with light coats. (thats the key, don't look for immediate coverage).

Once I got it to look good, I left the rings and put the Jeep in the sun for a few hours and took the masking off and put the rings back on. Seriously stupid easy. You will do fine!

As I was checking the brake pads this morning I noticed this..

So naturally I looked up Stu's site and did some reading. So I bought:

Timken Bearing
SKF Wheel Seal
RP 75/140
Misc sealant

So then I went back and inspected the pads and rotors... looks like its time to get some new gear..

After about 2 hours of searching and reviews I dropped some coin on these:

Jeep Wranger (TJ) 1997 - 1998, Front Brake and Rear Disc Package

Not a huge upgrade but have been getting amazing reviews from everyone on the board.

As much as I want to be mad about spending $500 for this it needed to be done. Can't wait to dive into the rear end and get that seal replaced. I love a challenge and pops just bought a press. What timing!

Also bedlined the front. Going to look imp: with the winch, fenders and JK turn signals.

Did the Led tails mod. Along with a spiderweb sun shade.

My birthday was yesterday and got some $$$.

So on the way:

Recon winch
OR-Fab tire carrier
PS defenders
PS hood louvers

PCB While I dont ever plan on selling, you bring up a good point about the carpet in the rear. I may have to look into something for Cooper.

Rubi4Life PCB, Enjoy it I loved my 03 Rubi, but after one to many solid objects I had to let her go. Looks real sweet, make sure to keep the carpet even if you line the tub, helps at resale, and better for the dogs. My GSD was all over the back of mine with no carpet.

No Rubicon models started on 2003 TJ's and have continued ever since on all models TJ 2dr, TJ Unlimited, JK 2dr, JK 4dr, and JK Unlimited (JKUR).

haha thanks! I have gotten more compliments about the wheels since I put them on. Cracked me up everyone was when bought them. It also helps that the wheel/tire combo is more proportionate to the TJ. The 2013 Rubi's look kind of weird with them.
