Don't be afraid to buy it... BUT... thoroughly check it out, and if it's from a dealer, get some bolts replaced before you do... and read this:

Pauls right, its the nature of the setup. But, if you keep your parts good, you won't have any problems.
First thing when I lifted my 94' was to install new drag link, tie rod ends and wheel hubs. No problems what so ever, she tracks great at highway speeds as well.
The problem is that people put things off until they get worse. If you start to get a little bit of a shake in the front end, have it checked out right away. Or, let it compound and become wobbly...

|phittie1100||My stock, unmolested 2008 JKU developed DW at less than 50k on the odometer. My 2006 LJ gets it too. It is a not uncommon problem with linked suspension setups, and goes away as soon as you fix what is broke or worn out. Identifying the broke or worn out part can sometimes be a challenge though. Ball joints and track bars are usually to blame, but you can sometimes feel like you are chasing your tail to identify the source.|

Undecided but Willing to take a chance
I am about to buy a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X 2008...I left a deposit yesterday (have not signed contract) and came home to read reviews about something called a death wobble...now I'm scared to death. Owning a Jeep Wrangler has been my dream for years ad I thought my dream was finally going to come true, actually it is if I decide to go through with it. I'm so scared this is ging to happen to me. Can anyone tell me if they have experienced this Or NOT...I'd love to read stories of either side. Thanks
