Isn't that for "Low Range"?

I believe 4WD you can be going in first gear.

Pushing forward, 4WD. Pulling back into the middle, Neutral. Pulling it all the way towards the back of the vehicle, Low Range.

Well they initially put them in place to "protect" businesses from being robbed and what not because in their mind, if businesses weren't open, nothing could happen to them...I definitely do not agree with those laws and I think they wised up when they realized people were driving to NY and MA to get their alcohol on Sundays.

Ah ok...well blue laws, back when they were first put in place, outlawed businesses to be open past 5pm on Sundays and until last year, package stores could not be open on Sundays and bars can't be open past 1am.

Another factor that can raise your rates is if you live with someone who has a bad driving record. When I still lived at home, insurance companies wanted to charge me $500 a month because my brother still lived there and he had 5 DUIs.

indirocz28 pull on the speaker rings to apply downward pressure on the screws, then try un screwing them again. Or wedge a screw driver between the ring and the surface to do the same thing while trying to unscrew.
05-19-2013 12:36 PM
Golding Ok sweet cheers,

Also got replacement food pedals. However the ones that are on it are hard to take off as some of the screws have worn down and won't screw out any tricks you know that might get them out ?
05-19-2013 12:32 PM
TrailHaunter The speakers in the sound bar are wicked easy. Took me 10 minutes to wire in the replacement ones I got.
05-19-2013 09:44 AM
indirocz28 For the sound bar, just get new speakers of that size whatever brand you want.
I suggest buying marine speakers.

As far as pitting on the wheels, get some good aluminum cleaner and elbow grease.if that doesn't work you will have to sand them.

You can always try the Mothers Power Ball.

Golding I finally got my plates yesterday and have it on the road. So much fun to drive .

Couple of (more sorry) questions

The rims are in good shape but there's a bit of pitting on the rims , how could I get that out and shine them?

Want to get new speakers for the sound bar. Is it a big job to replace them? Is there specific speaker sets for them?

05-17-2013 05:52 AM
Keymo Woohoo! You got lucky!
I'm glad you don't have to pay that $280/month... That's just stupid.
05-17-2013 05:41 AM
Golding Well technically there's nothing illegal about it, we are engaged. But no insurance company would offer that solution to us .
We had to find out for ourselves that we could do that .

I was talking about getting it insured in my girlfriends name and I go under as a named drive. But she already has a car and insurance so if I crashed and they seen were lying to get cheap insurance they could sue us. And since we are looking to buy a house soon. It's a bit of a risk.

Did you not check for quotes before buying the jeep? I did, just to make sure it wasn't retarded because its a 4x4 as I had a small pickup RW drive truck prior. About 5-10 years ago it was sky high insurance to own an SUV or 4x4 vehicle but now its somewhat normal and not held against for owning one. If I were you IMO I would postpone the jeep and work on the house... Sorry man but a house is more important investment then a jeep.

I'm the same as you, man. I hate new vehicles. There's something to be said for improvements in technology - but still. Plastic pieces of crap. Too much computer control and BS that comes along with them... Plus most of them look like sh!t in my opinion. What happened to the classics??

And heck yeah! I HATE driving automatics... I like being in complete control. .. And I get bored.
I hear ya brother, all the power options (EXCEPT power steering of course) are just not that practical and mostly distractions for a driver. I owned a chev lumina a few years ago, and it was a very comfortable drive but when winter hits, the power windows would not work good at all as I smoke in my vehicle (I know I should quit) but its silly little things that don't bode well with me when a simple change in season takes place.
