Fireaxe Might check this out....

Anybody hit up those hills off of I75 on the north side. Acworth area...can be seen from freeway?

ff815 There were blocks out there, but haphazardly. They were spaced far enough apart to drive a tank through and clearly not blocking the trail.

cleveland99 Ok I saw that there was concrete blocks did you drive between them

ff815 This is the exit ramp off I-75N. It's the second open area to the far right of the picture.

ff815 If you're heading north on I-75, get off the Red Top Mtn exit and turn right (east). The trail starts almost immediately on your right - maybe a couple hundred yards.

cleveland99 I agree that area looks to be getting cleaned up and marked off on my side for some reason when we first got jeep there was people going on a trail or road of some sort above my house and now there is signs and hay and barriers up all along the entrance and it connected to main street and I think its all the same its pine mtn I think

Michigunman Is it on a map? Or show up on GPS? If not I'd be skeptical.

cleveland99 I might ride over there today and see what I can see

ff815 We're in Acworth/Dallas. It's not part of Red Top State Park...just can't figure out if it's somebody's backyard.

cleveland99 Good point

PaddyL Most of it is red top mountain state park, so if the rangers catch you driving in the woods that wouldn't be good

cleveland99 If there is no sign I geuss your ok where do.you live and where does the trail go
05-12-2013 12:32 PM
ff815 Just once. Nice trail, beautiful scenery - I just don't want to get in trouble if it's private. We looked all over and didn't see the first 'no trespassing' sign.

It's a trail right before the entrance to a subdivision. No gate.

Red Top Mtn

Does anybody know anything about the trail alongside 75 north at the Red Top Mtn exit? It's literally right off the exit, and takes you to a neighborhood and power lines.
