coolin4u yeah had a buddy do it for me, i think its 1 1/4 tubing and gives a little extra protection keeping me off trees and rocks and if they get scuffed up i just shootem with some more black paint.

xjrjrx It was really easy I decided to do them after I lined my tub and didn't want to put the old steps back on and I needed to cover up the holes so I figured use them for the guards took maybe an hour to weld and cut probably only cost me 45$

cool thanks. im gonna look into that. it dosent look to bad with the flair cut lke that so i think thats what im gonna do.

xjrjrx I cut em cause my bolts were stuck I have the Sahara and it had the flares that connected to the steps I removed . I plan on getting bushwacker flat flares soon should just go right over them but here's what it looks like

home made rocker guards?

any one ever made diamond plate home made rocker guards? im thinking about makeing some and would like to see some pics and hear ideas and stuff makeing them
