Yes but the instructions tell you not to use a standard outlets. Mine has a adaptor with some hd clip that clamp onto the battery.

Tanks I have one of these. It's great for multi-day runs because it's so easy up and down. I got it because when I go solo our big 6 person tent just doesn't make sense. We take that when we do a week somewhere with both of us. That cot is badass though.

It's really easy to set up.

No camping for me until AFTER my daughters wedding in November which also means I will miss PVD! Thanks for the invite, I may try for a day run Steve.

Had to go to the Sears home page to find it as the link is blocked at work BUT no queen size, they do have double sized tent cots.

Looks cool but expensive.

Yea I have a mooktent but sooner or later you just want to be able to recline the seat and sleep. One thing in I get a truck later it WON'T be a short cab. Reclining seats is gods gift to trail camping.
As far as the mohave trail I should be in Laughlin on the morning of the 10th. Then drive west from there.

slickrock steve Hey Jeff!!
Have you seen the "Tent-Cot"?
All in one setup, and dry, as well as above the ground sleeping on the cot. Folds up to a square of about 30X30, and about 10 inches thick.
I have been camping using my tent, and with hauling a sleeping pad, tent, tarp, and sleeping bags, I use up more space in my TJ than that. just a bye-the-bye, guys are looking to go wheel and camp at Goler Gulch on the 24th-26th. Might be someplace to join in, and get some seat time. I may bring my pop up trailer, so may also have an extra place there.

I traded it in for a new 1987 Toyota 4runner. Drive that for 13 years and 250,000 miles. Both were awesome vehicles.
Yea I loved that truck to, it had big tires on it is all and I loved how it would work better in the snow than the guys I wheeled with. Sadly when we started the family it had to go to get a more family friendly vehicle.

IIRC it was an '82 in blue and white with the yellow and orange stripes. I had a matching camper shell made for it with the carpet kit in the back.

OK someone was talking about wheeling in the Deep Creek area outside of Hesperia and I will say that when I lived there years ago it got closed and we would get chased off by the cops and chased by helicopters! This WAS back in the 80's.

Don't know what is happening there today but if you go there just check for any signs telling you it's OK or to keep out. I will say that when I had my '82 Toyota 4wd pickup I climbed the back side of the damn and all of the guys with me chickened out! It was priceless to see the looks on their faces as I made my way to the top!

And riding a dirt bike thru the tunnell in 2 1/2 feet of running water was a challange to say the least.

But my kids are grown and gone, I'm. It supposed to need a big car anymore. Haha, Amanda Mazda CX9 has a 3rd row. It's a nice car. There's room for her 2 kids in my jeep, her timing just stinks since I took the top off. We will probably just swap cars at the wedding so I can haul the baby home.

I just get a call from her asking me to keep Caleb overnight and if I can take he and Ellie to the wedding tomorrow. (Caleb and Amanda are in her best friends wedding) I guess I'll be putting the top back on tomorrow. It's not an option to have it off with an 8 week old baby, plus I can't fit both car seats in my car.......Grand Cherokee would be nice right now, lol.

Serg5000 So today I got home from work after being awake around 30 hours. I was absolutely tired. My girl showed me a picture of our grandson and mentioned us possibly heading to San Diego to see him. I don't believe in miracles but the thought of him energized me. We jumped in a car and bolted. We had enough time to share the sunset with our favorite two men. My son, and beautiful grandson.
