JEEPSnKICKS23 You did a real good job it looks pretty sexy... How much do you think a paint job would cost me if i got a shop to paint my rims for me?

TeejHoward Sweet. Thanks man.

IMO it looks much better with the black wheels.

conwaymac I decided to paint them . My prep was steel wooled the wheel , cleaned with denatured alcohol. Used a masking tape with paper and went around the tire. Then sprayed with a Rustoleum / Primer all-in-one paint for metal surfaces.
Time will tell on longevity. I figured I can always find a set of stock rims if I want to go back.

How were you planning on painting the wheels? I have been thinking about painting mine black and was wondering what the best way to do it is. Like what kind of paint and what method might be best.

EDIT: Never mind, found them in another post. Jeep looks great. My vote would be to NOT paint the wheels black. The contrast looks good. I think the black will make the setup look cheap.
X2

i love that color and agree to leave the wheels as is
