There are a few write-ups on the forums currently and one that's on.... JeepForum ( not sure if I'm allowed to post a link ) It wasent hard to do just a bit annoying with the bolts in the back. Make sure you have at least one or two universal joints and wobble extensions. My TJ (03) had a plastic piece holding the wires up in the back. I had to cut it and break it off as it would not come loose from the cover. Just be sure to zip tie your wires up after. Also you may need to slide the lock ring for your radiator hose up and out of the way.

I own one of the new goPro +3 black units and I keep forgetting to put it in photo mode and use the remote and take photos so I can Keep my phone clean and away... I promise I'll do write ups on my aftermarket double radiator thermostatically controlled transmission cooling system :-)

And it's M.A.M.E as in the arcade emulator :-) been a fan since the early days and in a previous life I used to contribute board dumps.

Mamefreak Replaced the badly leaking valve cover gasket with a Fel-Pro one. Took a while and was a pain but it's done and doesn't seem to leak

Momamac Tightened my track bar on the axle end, appears that the 60mph vibes are gone!

Holton345 I got some upgraded Spicer U joints, Synergy ball joints, Black Magic pads, Centric Premium rotors and Timken unit bearings about a month ago. I have almost all of the needed tools ready to go, save for a good set of snap ring pliers - and this baby that Brown Santa just dropped off.

I now have the very nice (USA-made) OTC Ball Joint Service Set #7249 with the four-piece Jeep adapter kit, which happens to fit in the plastic case with the full set. NICE!

Daddy is going to be hip deep in TJ front end work about a week from today.

If I were to just mount the winch directly to the bumper, in between the 2 boxes just inside the frame rails would the metal hold up? I was thinking it would just act like a winch plate since it's 3/16th inch but just need to get a second opinion.
Ive got the poison spyder BFH bumper and its made out of 3/16th steel and comes stock with the winch mount holes cut into the bumper. Goes right between the frame rails. All though I think I have to add a plate to mount most hawse or fairleads

DJs97TJs Decided to pull the trigger on a set of 35x14.5r15 nitto mud grapplers and a ford 8.8. Just out of curiosity the guy wants $200 for the whole 8.8 assembly disk to disk. Is this a good price?

I think we will put the support bar on next, which we will make out of rectangular tubing and then the stinger will be after that. I just can't wait to finish it!
You could probably remove a couple inches off the bottom of that bumper for more clearance. It's hanging pretty low IMO, or it could just be the angle of the picture.

Thanks. I should do a build thread, I've sunk a ton into it since I bought in in January. Actually it would be more of a component list as I didn't really document the process too much, just a few before and after pics. But, I did utilize this forum extensively for ideas/experiences and as a basis for further research.

No relays.....strictly power distribution.

It uses MIDI fuses.....I have inline fuses on everything coming off it too....just to be safe about it.

Just unplug the wire off the door switch. If u need the interior lights just turn the light switch knob counterclockwise.

Better than a fancy alarm system. Hide it up under the dash and good to go. I like it!
