Ya it is front and rear photos 3456 thanks-- I wonder if someone makes a weld on bracket?
I might just have the Jonny joints welded on and cut the Rough country arms (like unlimited recommended) this is becoming more trouble than I have time for
Thanks for all your help

does the long arm kit from RC require cutting off the stock short arm mounts?
if so, just bolting on the 4" currie kit wont work....

I have heard lots of good things about the currie kits.

|Rubicon1968||Thanks I guess it will be the currie short arm as I mistakenly was reading about the full traction LA when I posted..|

|Rubicon1968||Thank you for your responses-I am going to go with the complete currie set up 4"LA-. Iwill rebuild my RC control arms and sell it with the new 5100's on ebay- Hopefully I can get $750 out of the kit with adjustable front and rear track bars springs etc.. Thanks again|

|Cons_Table||Assuming you can weld, you could probably knock it out easily in a weekend. If you cant, itll set you back a little time.|

|Rubicon1968||I like the several hundred better than the $1200 its the down time that will kill me..|
|05-16-2013 03:17 PM|
all that added up, Currie JJ's on all ends, will cost several hundred bucks.

|Rubicon1968||I have the long arm kit- Only rebuilt twice so far in two and a half years but its like every year and I don't like it with only 22,000 on the lift 30,000 on the LJ wrangler|
|05-16-2013 01:06 PM|
|Cons_Table||Do you have the long arm kit or the short arm kit?|
|05-16-2013 12:56 PM|
|Jaxon1023||How long have you had the rc lift? Do you do a lot of wheeling? Just wondering why you've had to rebuild them so much.|
|05-16-2013 12:49 PM|
|Rubicon1968||Oh the shock are awesome compared to 2.2 RC|
|05-16-2013 12:48 PM|
|Rubicon1968||4wd place is telling me there will be different mounting points so if I scrap the entire Rc kit except the springs (just spents $400 on Bilstein shocks for 5.5-6" lift) I should be able to do it. Now I need a price..???..|

Can I put the Currie control arms on my 6" rc lift??
I have had it with rebuilding this X-flex RC control arm and just want to be done with it and do a Jonny-joint set up with Currie. I read a lot on this forum and they seem to be on the top of the list with the least amount of problems.
So can I just buy the control arms and bolt them in where my current Rough country control arms are currently bolted. I want to do the install myself and not pay a forture to have them put on. Thanks
I'm a little concerned about the front housing area again 6" RC lift.. Thanks
Any part numbers or a site vendor for help would be even better..
