|RedSectorA||The optics are well designed. The light cut off is sharp and there do not appear to be any flares in the pattern.|

|MRT2||Thanks Peck. I'm looking forward to seeing the color. Just weary of any potential issue that could get me pulled over.|

|peck1959||Once you use them, you will notice a well defined cutoff where the light pattern shines. It is below where most oncoming drivers sit. That said, I have been flashed only twice in five months. They are DOT approved lights also.|

JW Speaker difficult to Ascertain from PIX.
Already pulled the trigger for the JW Speaker Lights. I do have a question for owners or experienced Jeeper's seeing these lights in person (as it's difficult to ascertain the type of 'brightness' on images on video on the net.
I know these lights are bright, but is it the same type of obnoxious brightness that you see on many of those aftermarket HID's on vehicles in which their lamps are not made for?
Or are the JW Speaker's more so equivalent to LED lamps that are similar to the newer Audi's, Mercedes, or even the Lexus LED's?
(Living in LA, I'm weary of another reason for a Police Officer to pull me over, or various individuals giving me flash warnings of high-beams, etc - assuming it's the same type of 'brightness' as what you would see on those aftermarket HID's seen on vehicles in which lamps are not made for them).
I guess I should have thought of this earlier.
