Welcome to the forum bud! You might have better luck with responses if you post your question in the TJ technical section?

Hello all, I'm a huge jeep fan and recently purchased a project '97 TJ with the 2.5L. I got it off my cousin who blew the transfer case up... when it let go it cut the main wiring harness, so my dad and I found a replacement but it had the wrong connectors ( wrong build date) come to find out I needed the early '97 harness, so we found the correct one and now it runs and drives well, but the dash cluster gauges don't work and neither does the radio. Any suggestions? I'm about to get out of trade school and start really working on it, I'd like to go with a 4 inch suspension and 2 inch body lift and 35's. Buuutt... I don't know if the 2.5L is enough to power it. I'm a diesel technician and have studied the Cummins 4BT and read some on putting them in a TJ. If anyone has a diesel powered jeep please message me! I'm excited to be part of this forum and hope to hear others option on my project, Thank you for reading my post, hope I didn't bore y'all!
