n3tfury Do yourself a favor and get the cheapest that Jeep offers. Go aftermarket after you get your Wrangler. They're a complete ripoff and you can get much better components for less later.

Either way, getting a "really" good sounding system in a JK is going to be troublesome with the stock speaker locations.

Turchman The sound from either system is awful.

KG32a Thanks. I thought that might be the case because it didn't sound that great and it didn't seem any better with the 430 system. I guess I should budget a speaker upgrade with my new ride.

panthermark Welcome to WF!

The Moab/Sahara/Rubi all come with the Premium speakers (which are meh) regardless of which head unit you get.

2013 JKU Factory Audio Choices

I'm on the quest for a new JKU and I can't find any "real" info on the audio systems available. I don't really care about Nav so I was going to get the 130 sound system but what else do you get with the 430 system? I know it has the hard drive/Nav/etc but are the speakers upgraded also? Is the sub the same for both? Is the amp bigger in the 430 system?

Thanks for your help.

I drove a Sahara, Moab, and Rubicon last night and I think I want the Rubicon.
